Born in Thiruvananthapuram, the capital City of Kerala and a fertile ground for cultural and political Activities.
The city is one of the reasons behind me entering to the art world, and while studying for my bachelors degree in political science at Kattakkada Christian college, I got a chance to attend the fine arts entrance exam and got admission to Mavelikara Rajaravivarma college of fine arts. After that I went to Kolkata to pursue Post graduation.
The Art scene in Kolkata led to a touch of Bengal’s heritage. From a Rural Kerala environment where I was born and brought up till then, Kolkata changed me a lot with all the qualities of a historical city and all the excitement and worries of a modern city. In that city given more space for interactions with artists from many countries made me
think about the diversity of their art works. As part of that, I tried to curate an exhibition in Kerala involving artists and art students from different countries. Also implemented my first curation project called SYNERGY. After that in Kolkata also curated my first solo exhibition with my works which i have done there.
After studying Master degree, I moved to Baroda, Gujarat to work as a full time Artist and experience new things as a Beginner. In 2020, I had to go back to Kerala due to covid 19 when the whole world had to Shut down. On that journey, an online curation project called ‘PLATFORM 2B’ was started using the potential of new media. It started with introducing the art works of national and International Artists.
In 2022 i Received a grant from Lalitha Kala Akademy and curated a second solo show in Kerala called LATENT SEGMENTS. The same year, I was able to work as part of the summer residency at space studio in Baroda. This made it possible to know more about Baroda’s Art scene In 2023 Under the banner of platform 2b, I was able to curate a group exhibition titled ‘TRAIL’, incorporating the works of Artists from various States of INDIA.
