P.P. Pradeep
1981 | Mumbai
P.P. Pradeep is an interdisciplinary artist whose practice explores the nuanced intersections of migration, displacement, and socio-economic transformation. Drawing on a deep cultural consciousness, his work reflects a dynamic tension between the rural and the urban, the ancient and the contemporary-revealing the invisible patterns that shape personal and collective identity.
Pradeep holds an MFA from Sir J. J. School of Art, Mumbai, and a BFA from Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kerala. His artistic language engages historical introspection and visual storytelling to examine alienation and societal flux. Through painting, sculpture, and installation, he constructs a vocabulary of evolving landscapes-both physical and emotional.
He is a recipient of the Kerala Lalithakala Akademi State Award and has participated in residencies such as Merging Metaphors. His work has been exhibited in leading galleries across India, from Kochi to New Delhi, establishing him as a significant voice in Indian contemporary art. Showed with SAC Art Amsterdam for ‘Mapping the Invisible’ from 01.03.2025 – 04.05.2025.
